Socialism and Communism: The Lesser of 2 Evils

We are all taught the positives of socialism and how it helps the neediest.

Yet, at the same time, we are taught all the negatives of communism and how it enslaves people.

What we are being taught the world over, are two very distorted perspectives that look at Socialism with a snapshot view, and the same with Communism but on the inverse.

In a capitalist world, Socialism is seen as the saviour as in some ways from that snapshot it is.

Does anybody look at communism in the same light in a capitalist structure?

If they did they would see that such a system is centrally positioned and authoritarian.

People network and connect with a strong sense of community. Each working together with their own methods and can thrive under such a system.

The government does not interfere with their private lives on a daily basis and functions similar to most world governments in the world, though has some political reservations.

They don't dictate where a person works or who they should marry and, other than the government system there is no real separation of levels as ordinary people work in the government.

The further it moves to the political left, however, the more the control over the people. Though, it actually ceases to be communism at that point.

What pulls it to the left is Socialism. If you mix them together, that system becomes Marxism.

Socialism is ultimately left positioned. Unlike Communism that's neutral; communism can be pulled in either direction and bastardised to create Marxism which varies in terms of how bad it is depending on how far left it is positioned.

Then Totalitarianism as a system also varies in terms of severity depending on how far right it is positioned.

Socialism is about taking from others to give to those less fortunate. But, it has no respect for whom it takes from.

If allowed to fester and move father to the far left, it sets to level the playing field to a point where all the rich and all the poor are the same.

Of course, then it becomes Marxism as it reaches that point and people lose ownership of everything and become "care of the state"

They are then divided, those caring and those cared for. Those in the lower tier are not trusted to lead their own lives, that is taken away from them and they have to abide by rules set for them.

The higher tier are those in positions of authority who have less restrictions. They have access to more resources and those in the higher positions own everything and govern how resources are allocated and used.
